This app provides an straight-forward tool for engineers, scientists and students performing viscous CFD computations to calculate preliminary Y Plus values and first mesh elements layer spacing on SI units during mesh generation.
The calculations are based on flat-plate boundary layer flow theory, and Skin-Friction coefficient can be calculated using the following formulae:
- 1/7 Power Law;
- "Prandtl (1927)";
- "Prandtl-Schlichting (1932)";
- "Hughes (1954)";
- "ITTC (1957)".
